It all started with a last minute trip to Varadero, Cuba to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.... Tony surprised V with a proposal and she of course said yes! Read about the full story here! :)

Taken and held captive by a new client in a large log cabin at Lion's Bay for 8 days! A great group of people to work with made the 14-16 hour days bearable. From the cabin is a beautiful view over the water, so I actually left the cabin a couple times to take photos from the porch!

It began snowing on December 12 and hasn't stopped or melted! Very unusual for Vancouver to have a knee deep snow and to have it stick around for so long... at it is still snowing! We have managed to enjoy it though! This album contains lots of fun in the snow in BC during the holidays including tobogganing for Tony's birthday, cross-country skiing in the Callaghan Valley with Katie, snowy walks, New Years Eve, and our first Christmas in BC in 4 years! Veronica drove down to Vancouver on Christmas day to spend a lovely lunch with the Daws family which was followed by V and Tony heading back to Whistler for Christmas dinner with the Solimano's. Have loved being home again for this time of year!

I was running along the neighbourhood streets around Marguerite and 37th Ave in Shaughnessy at around 1am. It's a very poorly lit area at night, the lights few and far between and not the brightest. The odd person here and there I'd notice every so often, but most of the time I was running alone, listening to an audio book (David Allen's Getting Things Done, an excellent life-management program), minding my own business when completely out of the blue something hits my head and quickly rips along the right half of my head from front to back...

Mary (Tony's sister) and Mike were married in Hawaii recently, Tony's parents held this party for family and friends to celebrate their marriage.
