Wanting to comment?

Journal article posted Monday, March 2nd, 2009 by Tony & Veronica
If you are wanting to comment on the pictures or journal articles on our website and are wondering why you are having trouble... we are unfortunately going to have to ask you to log-in for now... we were getting a ton of spam messages/comments so have had to disable the ability to comment without logging in for the time being until Tony has time to take a look at it and modify the website... which may be a while as he is currently working 12-16 hour days, 7 days a week... Sorry about the inconvenience! You can sign in or create an account to the left if you don't already have one. And there is an option to check a button titled "remember me" so the website remember's you so you don't have to log-in every time which will hopefully make it less of a hassle for you! :)

Taken and held captive by a new client in a large log cabin at Lion's Bay for 8 days! A great group of people to work with made the 14-16 hour days bearable. From the cabin is a beautiful view over the water, so I actually left the cabin a couple times to take photos from the porch!

Winter Holidays 2008 (86 Photos)

Britannia Beach
Album posted Wednesday, December 31st, 2008 by Tony & Veronica
It began snowing on December 12 and hasn't stopped or melted! Very unusual for Vancouver to have a knee deep snow and to have it stick around for so long... at it is still snowing! We have managed to enjoy it though! This album contains lots of fun in the snow in BC during the holidays including tobogganing for Tony's birthday, cross-country skiing in the Callaghan Valley with Katie, snowy walks, New Years Eve, and our first Christmas in BC in 4 years! Veronica drove down to Vancouver on Christmas day to spend a lovely lunch with the Daws family which was followed by V and Tony heading back to Whistler for Christmas dinner with the Solimano's. Have loved being home again for this time of year!

Veronica spent three weeks down in Peru with her parents from November 16 - December 5, 2008. Visited family in Lima... was so nice to see everyone, catch up with my relatives and grandma, and eat all the delicious Peruvian food! Highlights of the trip were learning how to surf, pole dancing Lima style (including teaching a workshop on our Canadian techniques), and going on a four day trip to Tarma in the Andes and to La Merced, San Ramon and Satipo in the Central Peruvian Jungle. Also visited the marshes in Villa, saw the Lima fountains, the beaches outside of Lima....

Attacked on Night Run

Journal article posted Friday, November 28th, 2008 by Tony
I was running along the neighbourhood streets around Marguerite and 37th Ave in Shaughnessy at around 1am. It's a very poorly lit area at night, the lights few and far between and not the brightest. The odd person here and there I'd notice every so often, but most of the time I was running alone, listening to an audio book (David Allen's Getting Things Done, an excellent life-management program), minding my own business when completely out of the blue something hits my head and quickly rips along the right half of my head from front to back...

Veronica commented on "Our Wedding - July 3, 2010": The ceremony was at Spanish Banks beach followed by the reception in V's parent's garden. We really couldn't have asked for a better day, it was absolutely perfect! The weather held out, the food was delicious, and the company even better. It was so nice to have our closest family and friends all together to help us celebrate! And thank you so much to all those who flew out, it meant the world to us!!! (let us know if you want any of these pictures) note: there are many more pictures up on our photographer's website (you can also order photos through her): www.magnoliaphotographic.com/clients - weddings, password = daws love, Anthony & Veronica
Tony commented on "The Beacon Hotel 2": A very good question. I have no idea... but i didn't like it. fortunately you can swivel it around to face away from you :)
