Veroncia joins Candace, Diana, Crystal, Maria and others for PoleCon 2011
We spent 3 amazing weeks on our honeymoon in Borneo Malaysia. It was full of adventure including climbing SE Asia's tallest mountain (Mt Kinabalu), trekking through primary rainforest in search of wild orangutan's (we saw 7!), seeing 2 of Borneo's endemic primates (Borneo Gibbon and Proboscis Monkey), and snorkeling in the clear waters around Sipadan with many turtles and colorful fish! On the way home, our long layover allowed us a chance to explore Tokyo a bit - definitely a place we would love to explore a bit more!
Moving day at the Daws Family House on 32nd and Canarvon.
Miscellaneous photos from 2010 that didn't fit into another album...
After the wedding, we planned a week on Hornby Island with anyone who wanted to join us. It was a beautiful relaxing week which allowed us to spend some quality time with family. As for the honeymoon... that will happen sometime in 2011. Location is yet to be decided
Pictures from our wedding day on July 3, 2010 in Vancouver, BC!
Most of these photos were taken by our photographer, Magnolia Photographic. But there are also a few that our friends/family took. Enjoy!
Our engagement shoot with Laura from Magnolia Photographic! This was a fun way to get to know her before our wedding! We really enjoyed working with her - she was so patient with us! We would highly recommend her!
For a Christmas party / work trip, Tony's company brought us both down to Las Vegas for a few days, treating us to a fancy party at "Mix" at The Hotel (Mandalay Bay Hotel). An "old" malfunctioning camera, dim lighting conditions and restrictions on flash photography made taking photos fairly difficult but being able to open up to f/1.2 helped me at least get a few shots here and there in the dark Vegas underworld :) Vegas was quite a sight; These photos don't tell the full story of just how massive it feels with its interconnected hotels going on and on through differently themed areas.

Recent Activity Veronica commented on " Our Wedding - July 3, 2010": The ceremony was at Spanish Banks beach followed by the reception in V's parent's garden. We really couldn't have asked for a better day, it was absolutely perfect! The weather held out, the food was delicious, and the company even better. It was so nice to have our closest family and friends all together to help us celebrate! And thank you so much to all those who flew out, it meant the world to us!!! (let us know if you want any of these pictures)
note: there are many more pictures up on our photographer's website (you can also order photos through her):
