For a Christmas party / work trip, Tony's company brought us both down to Las Vegas for a few days, treating us to a fancy party at "Mix" at The Hotel (Mandalay Bay Hotel). An "old" malfunctioning camera, dim lighting conditions and restrictions on flash photography made taking photos fairly difficult but being able to open up to f/1.2 helped me at least get a few shots here and there in the dark Vegas underworld :) Vegas was quite a sight; These photos don't tell the full story of just how massive it feels with its interconnected hotels going on and on through differently themed areas.

Just a couple days up at Hornby Island to check out Seabreeze Lodge as a potential wedding location. Though Tony spent most of the weekend working, we still managed to get some nice walks in and show the Solimanos around the island.

Spent a few days in Dublin, 6 days of doing nothing but work, but I had a weekend to myself to explore Dublin and the surrounding area.

Richmond hospital physiotherapy staff and some of V's pole dancing friends take a circus intro workshop... Cirque Du Soleil here we come!

Gia, Sam, Tony, and Veronica hike up to Garibaldi Lake, and then on to Black Tusk. Plus a little "wander" around the lake.

Tony's mum and dad were house-sitting for our family friends Sarah and Gerald, so we went down to visit for a few days and explore Victoria, one of the most beautiful cities, if not THE most beautiful city I've ever come across.

This article describes our last minute trip to Varadero, Cuba where we celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Was so relaxing, nice to be in the sun and in beautiful tourqouise waves. Visited Havana, saw a show at the world famous Tropicana, explored the area around Varadero by jeep and went swimming in a cave. But the best part of the whole trip was getting engaged on the 21st!!! :)
